Team Honda Research-West Finishes 8th Overall in '25 Hours of Thunderhill'!


This past Sunday Team Honda Research-West (THR-W) participated in the '25 Hours of Thunderhill', the longest automobile race in the US, finishing in 8th place overall.

THR-W returned to the course last weekend with two updated Acura ILX Endurance Racers, sporting the exterior features of the 2016 Acura ILX. #25 Acura ILX finished in 8th place overall and 4th in the ES class with 604 laps. #27 Acura ILX finished 7th in the ES class, completing 546 laps.

About '25 Hours of Thunderhill'

The 11th annual race, which is held every first weekend in December, is sanctioned by NASA (National Auto Sport Association).

The race is held at Thunderhill Raceway Park in California and is host to many other motorsport events for cars and motorcycles.
