Emission Control Systems Warranty

Four years of 80,000 km

This warranty ensures that the emission control systems in the Acura conform to all published Canadian Federal and Provincial emission control standards.

If there are any defects in material and workmanship in the emission control system they will be repaired and replaced with new Acura-approved parts at no cost. All emission control components are covered under the basic vehicle warranty for 48 months or 80,000 km. 

Integrated Motor Assist System Warranty

Eight years or 160,000 km

The Integrated Motor Assists System Warranty guarantees that your motor stator, Motor Rotor, DC-DC Converter, Motor Control Module, Battery Assembly, Motor Power Inverter Module, Battery Condition Monitor Module, and Voltage Converter Module will continue to be free from defects in material and workmanship.

Rust Perforation Warranty

This warranty guarantees’ that any new Acura vehicle’s body will be free from perforation caused by corrosion from the inner surface to the outer surface of the body for a five year period. The Components include any moving or non-moving metal parts of the vehicle power train, steering, suspension, braking, cooling, heating or exhaust systems or metal trim mouldings.

Surface Corrosion Warranty

Surface corrosion is corrosion affecting the surface area of the vehicle’s body. This does not include the under body, or external damage due to paint, plated surfaces or corrosion caused by other damages.

This warranty guarantee’s that the new Acura body surface will not have any visible corrosion or any paint defects for four years/80,000km from the date of first registration.

Body panels that have been replaced due to accidents or damage must be genuine Acura-approved parts. Any paint damage caused by road debris, acid rain, tree sap, bird droppings, and industrial fallout are not covered by this warranty.

Audio and Navigation Components Warranty

Four years or 80,000km

This warranty guarantee’s that original equipment or genuine Acura accessory radio, compact disc player, DVD-A player, compact disc charger and navigation system will be free from defects in material and workmanship.

If any defects are found they should be reported to an Acura dealer within the four-year period and necessary repairs or replacements with new parts will be made at no cost.

Please note that dealer installed audio and navigation components that are not genuine Acura are not covered by this warranty.

Battery Warranty

Four years or 80,000 km

This warranty guarantee’s that the original battery that is installed will be free from any defects in material and workmanship.

If any defects are to be found you must report it to an Acura dealer within the four year 80,000 km warranty period. The battery will then be replaced at no cost to you for parts and labour.

Genuine Acura Accessory Warranty

This warranty guarantees that all genuine Acura accessories installed by an Acura dealer at a time or prior to retail sales of the vehicle will be free from defects in material and workmanship.
